“Bill is a true professional, I hired him to work the Life Time Sea Otter Classic and he nailed it. He worked well solo as well as with any of our five other announcers I placed him with. He was extremely aware of our social media and sponsor/partner needs, and respected all the guidelines our event has in place. He is a true team player, and would definitely be an asset to any event.”
-Juli Renquin
Announcer Coordinator, Life Time Sea Otter Classic

"For several seasons now, Bill Elliston has been an announcer at the UCI Cyclocross event, Rockland County Supercross Cup, held annually each fall since 2002. Being a former professional cyclist, and currently a coach for many top amateur and professional athletes, Bill's unique background brings a wealth of knowledge to the sport seldom seen. His dedication to his craft also shows in his thorough research of start lists prior to our events; he is constantly aware of who is racing, where they are positioned, both on the course and in their own local racing scene, and is able to offer spectators and racers alike engaging and entertaining dialogue for a period of hours without being repetitive. Bill has brought value to our events far beyond his appearance fees, and I would not hesitate to retain his services for our future events. Likewise, I would also not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone- he is a consummate professional who has great passion for the sport and I am certain he will exceed expectations come race day."

Myles Romanow, Founder and Race Director, UCI Rockland County Supercup

"Core to the mission of producing the Media Hometown Cycling Classic has been to create a high-quality, stand-out event that racers, spectators, sponsors, and Borough of Media residents and government officials will look forward to with enthusiasm and anticipation each year. Media is a destination town for outdoor events, restaurants, theater and the arts, and more; therefore our race event must be exceptional to be appreciated and to survive going forward. Bill is a perfect fit for our mandate to build a quality brand. He’s personable, insightful, and genuine, and his understanding of bicycle racing flows freely. Feedback on race day and post-event was 100% enthusiastically positive. Racers and spectators alike have often commented that the announcing/commentating was surprisingly interesting and the perfect tone, and they want more speakers next year so it can be heard around the course. Bill and our other announcer, Gary Thornton, worked together like a veteran team, and Bill’s insider’s depth and understanding added something special. In a nutshell, feedback from racers was: great course, great venue, super well- organized, great announcing/commentating, can’t believe this was the first year, looking forward to next year. Spectators unfamiliar with bike racing were becoming fans and asking us about next year. Bill helped us hit it out of the park on year one, and I’m excited to have him on our team again next year."
